AMBIENT/POSTER - Fine as it is! could add another version of it if we get time, but get everythink else done first!

Interactive - Nearly there, make changes that BBC have suggested, make new altered mock up of it and schematic is needed for final delivable!

Video - Needs rethinking! Something to do with telling the user how to use the red button, talk through how its used, simular to apple ad!

Drive through website - needs rethinking??? posiblitys manel to it, print version, hand them out as part of the ambient media as a guide to how to use it? or emulator where people can be visually shown how to use it!

Final List and Do List!

Poster:-

Change Red Ball to a giant Red Button (was agreed upon with Mark) Lights up at night red, so you can see it miles away! Mark has suggested that Will finishes this aspect of, by just changing the red ball to a button!

Videos:-

1. Nature Watch - Was suggested that we make this idea! Goes across sees a DoDo is like ooo look at that that carnt be possible, then sees this dot in the background and zooms in and goes crazy at seeing this red button. Is alot about the zooming and closing in - motion blur effect, Will Voice over! (M)

2.Antiques Roadshow - relate to the Ming Vase which sold for lost of money! some kind of pun on the red button being worth more money than the Ming Vase. (M)

3.gardening - Pulling up the remote control - the red button is the only aspect that has grown! rest is dead!

Next tuesday we have lesson 1.30-4.30 than we are helping Mick out on a project for 45 minutes!

Need to show that there have been a process, from sketch to final - process that lies behind it!

Ideas Campaign "See what you're Missing!"

Billboard (1 needed)

1. relating to a big red ball put in manchester city center, people looking at it! City scape and a red ball, "see what you're Missing"

- options - Red umbrellas in garden centers, red button flowers? red buttons in the centre of them

Approach needs to be:-


  • Relaxing (softer, tell them that it will be reliable and works)
  • Pace and timing that suits the 55+
  • Tag line decided - "see what you'r missing"
  • About Demystifying! (key word)
  • About the benefits of the red button (reaching into their psyche)
  • Its going to enhance their life 
  • Someone digging in the garden, finds a red button, overdrive button, fits into programs that they are into, interests.
  • represents something about the audience!

What needs to be produced!

A Full Campaign Strategy including:

1. 1 Billboard Poster (96 sheet)

2. A series of Blipverts/stings - make audience aware of YOU VIEWS arrival, to be screened in-between appropriate programming! (Two working examples produced, series of 5 all together) All to be story-boarded.

3. Drive through BBC site as an engaging and tempting invite to find out more (at least 2 working examples, series of 5 in total - all to be story-boarded)

4. An interactive schematic and front end working skin example of YOU VIEWS interface and Navigational structure.
